Science and the supernatural

Science has nothing to say about God or the supernatural.

There is nothing to say because they are nothing – they do not exist.

The supernatural does not exist in science, although it does exists in the minds of some people.

If someone claims that God did something, what does that mean?

As claims in science must be explained in detail, the claims about God must also be explained in detail. The claim must show in detail exactly, in step by step fashion, how God did it.

Another thing:

There are many fundamentally different Gods in the minds of the world. You can ask, “Which God is the claim talking about?” and Could it be one of the other Gods?

In summary, Science is an atheistic endeavour.

God and the supernatural are a private religious affair, separate from science.

So a person believes in a God.

However, in the case of a scientist believing in a God, it is vital the scientists not claim some supernatural influence in the science done.

A scientist to say, “God did it” or “a supernatural event has occurred because I can’t explain it” would be the end of scientific investigation – the end of science.
